The first phase involved disconnection of the existing unit located externally in the middle of the roof. The removal required King lifting to build a 350t crane on site over a weekend. Luckily good weather conditions allowed the existing AHU to be removed and the new sections lifted in to place with Dalair in attendance to position and build the new sections all well within the allotted time slot . Works are currently ongoing carrying out alterations to the existing services for reconnection to the new unit.
